Welcome to the 39th annual People's Choice Awards. Host Kaley Cuoco is in attendance for the second year in a row at LA's Nokia Theatre. Look for performances from the likes of Xtina, Jason Aldean and Alicia Keys, and a special award for Sandra Bullock. And the first award goes to...
Whoever the writers are for the PCA should be replaced for future years. The desperate try at funny lines was painful to listen to and I am sure embarrassing for those that had to do the delivery. Really glad to see Big Bang win for their category - well deserved. Kaley actually would have done a pretty good job hosting if the writers had have given her some decent material to work with. Some advice to the winners - tape record your speach for next year and then listen to it before you actually say it on national TV.
To sum up - probably the worst awards show I have ever seen and I find that sad as the winners are all deserving of recognition.
Sadly, I stopped watching awards ceremonies because they are so painful to watch. It used to be about the performance, now it's just a high-school reunion and who's dating who. Seriously, who cares!
These are the industry's leading artists yet somehow the actors are made to look like baffoons when on stage presenting because of second and third-rate lines they have to deliver.
It really doesn't make sense - this should be "the best of the best" performance, yet it always looks like it's something that's just patched together at the last minute.
Hey Hollywood - get your act together!
How about just letting the actors ad-lib or better yet, pay some of those hot-shot writers to script the show and get the presenters to practice (or at least make it look like they've practiced).
As for the focus on the clothes...well...that's my favourite part. Maybe they should just change the format entirely and call it a fashion show with a few awards handing out sproadically throughout the evening. And I reiterate, Hey Hollywood - get your act together!
I agree with the below regarding the speeches Adam Sandler is a funny man but was he drunk last night he was not funny what was with the comment about the 3rd finger!!!. And as for Castle winning best crime show it is on at the same time as NCIS and NCIS wins ratings hands down every week so who is voting for Castle but watching NCIS!!!!.
It was also easy to guess the winners as the they were all in the audience so if you did not see nominees in the audience they did not win i think only the winners were invited.
Once Upon A Time has a loyal and large following that has grown in the two years that it has been on air.
The fandom could not see why it did not win one award. Especially, Ginnifer Goodwin did deserve that award she has a loyal following, amazing, talented and the fans always want to see her on tv.
Peoples Choice did a poor job at even promoting Once Upon A Time and Ginnifer Goodwin to get the votes they needed to win especially on twitter.
Was it because, the show and herself as popular as everyone else? She is very popular the fans love and adore her. She and the show deserve more recognition.
I strongly believe that Ginnifer Goodwin should have won best actress hands down. also, ABC's Once Upon A Time deserved to win in at least one category as well.
The fandom is the greatest fandom you can be a part of, and no matter what in our hearts, they won and I will continue supporting her, and the show strongly until it is recognized for the amazing work, acting, and storytelling that it has to offer.
Taylor Swift must have the best marketing team around, she is seen everywhere.....as for cleavage, I am sick of the big bosom cracks in your face....please ladies unless you have the small size chest that Ms. Swift has button up. On Taylor it looked fantastic especially with that amazing dress. Just gorgeous
As for the show I agree with the person who suggested to the stars that they prepare their acceptance speech a little more, have it written if need be....please, there are more than 3 words available.
