La Toya Jackson: 'Father is almost back to normal after three strokes'

The Jackson family patriarch and former manager of the Jackson 5 was admitted to a hospital in Las Vegas after falling ill on 29 November (12), and La Toya subsequently told her Twitter.com fans she was "so proud of his strength in recovery".

Now, the star has returned to her page on the social networking site to update them on Joe's condition.

In a post on Thursday (06Dec12), she wrote, "Thank you for asking about my father he's doing extremely well! Almost back to normal thanks to you and your prayers we appreciated you!"
