Actor Simon Pegg has revealed that he does not really have ginger hair and that he dyed it for hit movie Shaun Of The Dead.
Pegg, 40, said he faked the look for the hit 2004 British movie, which he also co-wrote.
Speaking to UK magazine More!, the Star Trek star said: "I'm not actually a redhead! When we did Shaun Of The Dead, I dyed my hair before filming and it kind of went red.
"So I'm a fake ginger. I dye it blond now – because it makes it look like there's more of it."
Pegg, who is starring opposite Isla Fisher in new movie Burke And Hare, joked he was concerned when he found out she was pregnant after they filmed love scenes together.
He said: "She is so funny in real life. She was pregnant when we were shooting and we didn't know. Well, the production team knew, but the rest of us didn't.
"She was under three months, so wanted to keep it secret, but we were doing, you know, love scenes and stuff!
“I was worried for a second when I found out…"
