Okay, now we see what Nicole Kidman sees in husband Keith Urban. The man's charisma was well evident as he cranked it up to sing "You Gonna Fly." He also has some serious chops, Urban worked his Fender Telecaster to rock & roll levels.

Why is it , when the Dixie Chicks made a  derogatory remark against President Bush, they were blackballed by the CMA and when Hank Jr. does it against President Obama  he's just a good ol' boy havin fun?

I wasnt expecting to, but I balled my eyes right out to Martina McBride. Man that woman is a powerful singer! and Jason Aldean in that leather cowboy hat and ripped jeans is the sexiest cowboy alive!

I think Martina McBride should have won. She has such a fabulous voice.  I agree, those dresses were just horrible. Carrie Underwood must have spent most of the time changing into dresses. Was it a modeling thing????? Won't watch again. Some of the people that should have won didn't. Does not sound like country anymore. You can't even understand what they are singing.

I like to hear the singer -not the heavy metal guiter. The entire show was NOT country music the way I like it. To bad for me I guess. Taylor's solo was the hi lite. The Perry band is "COUNTRY"

The song done by Sugar Loaf sweetie was absolutely fabuluos & extremly sexsual, but I never understsood or head a word that was sung. Too bad for me, I just like good ol' front porch music

Sorry Iam old, and used to a good sound not a flashing guitar sounding like a jazz violin. I see no reason to watch the CMA Awards again.  God Damn I am old

Carrie Underwood's  last dress, the green thing with the  cut away sleeves, lord what was she thinking, she looked very frumpy in that one!  Taylor Swift does not have the great voice that everyone seems to think she has. Country music is no longer country,.... Alan Jackson is country, Garth Brooks is country the stuff we are hearing now is not country music in my opinion. Too much flash, glitz and lights and..... dress changes, it's like a modeling competition. Bring the old country style of music back.....please

I agree that country music is no longer country but all about who can play their music the loudest. All that glitz is nonsense and who needs dancers that are barely clothed?

My country is nothing like this and I will never watch another music awards show. Bring back the real singers like Dolly, Kenny, Garth, Charlie and on and on.

I have my c.ds of my favorites and will listen to the country classics on the radio, thank you very much.

Disgusted

I love "new" country but dresses were more than awful! Taylor should not have won and Jason Aldean is the next big thing!
