Chris Rock's sitcom "Everybody Hates Chris" was one of the funniest half hours on television during its run, but the autobiographical show was inspired by a subject which is no laughing matter: Rock's on-going bullying in and out of school. "I got beat up just about every day," Rock has said. "I got called n**ger every single day. I got kicked and whatever." Rock's parents bussed their son to an all-white school in the Brooklyn neighbourhood of Bensonhurst growing up, making him a target for racist kids and singling him out. In fact, a grade school teacher of Rock sent him a letter back in 2005 apologizing for what he went through.
