President Barack Obama gives Jay-Z parenting advice

The President took time out of his election campaign to offer lifestyle advice to the rapper, whose wife Beyonce gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy in January (12).

Father-of-two Obama told the hip-hop heavyweight to make sure he shares the workload in raising his daughter and doesn't leave all the baby duties to his wife and mother-in-law.

Obama tells radio station Z107.9, "I've gotten to know these guys over the last several years. They're good people. They really are down-to-earth folks. And we talk about the same things I talk about with all my friends. Was he helping Beyonce out and not leaving it all to mom and the mother-in-law.

"Being a President or a rap mogul might be a tough job, but being a parent can humble even the best."
