Sandy concert tickets making thousands online

The upcoming 12-12-12 show at Manhattan's Madison Square Garden has attracted a stellar line-up and tickets were sold off to raise fund for victims of superstorm Sandy, which battered the East Coast in October (12).
The seats sold for between $150 and $2,500 , but lowest-priced tickets are now fetching upwards of $500 on re-sale websites, with prices soaring over $3,700 for better seats. One pair of tickets has even been listed for a massive $60,000 on StubHub.com.
The inflated prices have sparked outrage over claims greedy sellers are making a profit from the charity event and New York Senator Chuck Schumer has slammed the scalpers.
He tells the New York Post, "Every dollar spent for these concert tickets should go to help the victims of Superstorm Sandy - not to line the pocket of unscrupulous scalpers."
The 12-12-12 line-up also includes Dave Grohl, Alicia Keys, Eric Clapton, Eddie Vedder and Billy Joel. The concert takes place on Wednesday (12Dec12).
