The Anchorman star donned the traditional red jacket and tie of the infamous stony-faced security team at the Staples Center as he faced the crowds during a half-time performance.

Ferrell even sported a fake name tag around his neck to complete his disguise for the game between home team the Los Angeles Lakers and Arizona's Phoenix Suns.

The actor never cracked a smile throughout his appearance and only moved to eject former National Basketball Association (NBA) star Shaquille O'Neal from the venue and jokingly escort him out of the stadium with his hands held behind his back.
