Tropic Thunder mocked Hollywood to its core as the film followed a group of movie stars in their attempt to make a fictional Vietnam war film (a film-within-a-film in itself). But more than just the toy soldier storyline, Tropic Thunder also featured a trailer reel of other fake movies, from the touching paternal drama of "Satan’s Alley," to the politically incorrect "Simple Jack." When we first meet comedian Jeff Portnoy (Jack Black), he's playing multiple roles in "The Fatties: Fart 2," which mimics Eddie Murphy's portrayal of multiple characters in Nutty Professor II: The Klumps. Fictional critics would undoubtedly pan "The Fatties," but whatever their feelings, it's still bound to be better than The Klumps.
