Those iconic words were uttered by Humphrey Bogart's Rick Blaine to Ingrid Bergman's Ilsa Lund in the 1942 megahit "Casablanca." Rick and Ilsa had the perfect liaison in Paris, and such was their onscreen chemistry that Bogart's wife, Mayo Methot, accused him of having a real life affair with Bergman. Methot would often confront Bogart in his dressing room, regularly causing him to turn up on set in a fit of rage. Her fears were unfounded as, in reality, Bogart and Bergman rarely spoke.
