Given that it is set in 19th century China, the sight of Wu-Tang Clan maestro The RZA playing a blacksmith in his directorial debut, The Man with the Iron Fists, seems, from the trailers, to be a tad incongruous, for certain reasons. But the trope of the ‘stranger in a strange land’ is an ongoing one in film so let’s look at ten films where our heroes do not look like they belong but someone manage to (mostly) triumph regardless.
