Movies shot here: White Fang 2: Myth of the White Wolf, The X Files: I Want to Believe, Why Did I Get Married?, Dream House, The Grey

Cue The X-Files theme whistle. For the franchise's 2008 movie, The X Files: I Want to Believe, Mulder and Scully journeyed to the not-so-desolate ski town of Whistler. The "Antarctic" location you see is actually a glacier located just above the resort while, lower down the slope, Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married? shot scenes at the Blackcomb ski resort. The town's impressive backdrop has also provided panoramic landscapes for Disney's White Fang 2 and The Grey -- Liam Neeson sipped cocktails at The Cure bar in the Nita Lake Lodge. Easy ladies.
