As the nation's capital, Ottawa is always in the thick of the action, which may also explain the high proportion of action heroes. In April 2010, Cuba Gooding Jr. rallied around the streets, shooting scenes for his movie Sacrifice downtown at the Parliament Ultra Club on George Street and St Brigid's Church on Murray Street. On a more need-to-know basis, a once-secret four-storey Cold War bunker known as Diefenbunker, buried deep in fields on the outskirts of Ottawa, was used as a shooting location for the action film The Sum of All Fears.
