Never mind that both of these classic '70s horror titles have already been rebooted within the last decade -- and never mind that those reboots spawned a prequel ("Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning") or a sequel ("Halloween 2"). None of those were in 3D, were they? Well, that's where the money is in 2012, so here we are with brand-new 3D interpretations, presumably aimed at suckers who've never heard of Tobe Hooper or John Carpenter. The poor bastards.
