Once upon a time there was a movie industry that ran out of ideas. It scoured the lands high and low for inspiration until it came across the tales of Hans Christian Andersen, Arabian Nights and the Brothers Grimm. With a quick flick of their magic wand, Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, even the brothers themselves were given the big screen treatment and the people rejoiced.

Next up for those Hollywood hit makers is Hansel and Gretel who, all grown up, are to return to their fabled forest and exact revenge on their childhood tormentors. The film, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, will hit theatres on January 25th, but until then we're turning the pages on a few more fairytales that movie makers have twisted up...
