In the new animated film Hotel Transylvania, Adam Sandler voices Count Dracula as the ultimate overprotective dad, building a monsters-only resort in Transylvania to keep his daughter safe from the threat of human beings. His wariness gets put to the test when his little girl - now 118 years old -falls in love with a human boy voiced by Andy Samberg. But Sandler's Drac is far from the first film father to look askance at the boys who come around for their daughters.
