For sheer over-the-top, Broadway-style entertainment, little can top Diana Ross's Super Bowl XXX Motown medley. Taking the stage in a sparkly red dress and surrounded by a dozen fit young dancers, Ross performed a handful of Supremes hit, including "You Keep Me Hangin' On," "Baby Love" and "You Can't Hurry Love." As hundreds of balloons were released, Ross re-emerged in a new dress to sing her debut solo single, 1970's "Reach Out and Touch (Somebody's Hand)." Yet another costume change had her performing the Marvin Gaye/Tammy Terrell classic "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" with a full-on choir. That Ross left the stadium in a helicopter should come as no surprise.
