Diva is a female version of a hustler (says Beyoncé), but no matter how you look at it, diva isn't something you want to be labeled. At least not for us regular peasant folks.
As Christina Aguilera and Rihanna both rolled out new albums this fall (Lotus and Unapologetic respectively), we're once again reminded of the importance of being a female hustler in the music business and why diva-esque behaviour is tantamount to their careers. Really, how does one warble onstage knowing that there are, god forbid, red carnations waiting in the dressing room? Now flip through our gallery to discover what other demands should be met to keep music royalty comfortable in their thrones…
you have got to be ****ng....Who do these people think they are....totally ridiculous
Boy, her crap must really stink if she needs rose petals in her bowl!
SO CLASSY SHANIA,,,,,,,AGAIN,,,CANADIAN REPRESENTATIVE AT HER BEST ,,,THANK YOU SHANIA FOR BEEING SUCH A GOOD AMBASSADOR OF OUR COUNTRY ,,,,
These women make me sick!
With so many going without food, shelter, heat, proper clothing, they want rose petals in their toilets? Caviar facials? What REALLY got me was the "DONT LOOK AT ME OR TALK TO ME!!!!! I can understand some things, but get a life, ladies! Who died and made you GOD?????
Ah, she is a nobody anyway. I guess when you only have looks going for you; you wouldn't want to see anyone giving you the evil-eye. She is so marketed and manufactured that almost everything about her is so fake. No wonder she is divorced 3 times, no man could put up with buying her a new toilet seat covering if she lost one down the toilet...toilet forbid!
These "divas" make these demands because we as a society have allowed them to get away with it. Goodness, they're nothing more than trained monkeys on stage - yet look at the way people fawn over them!
As far as I'm concerned, these "superstars" make far too much money. My gosh, just because one CAN spend money does not mean one SHOULD.
You know, it seems to me that the money spent on such frivolous demands would be better spent looking after those who need the basics - shelter, food, clothing - not overseas but right HERE. How about these talented folks with obviously too much cash on their hands be required to donate 30-40% of their income to those who actually need it?
Bring these folks down a notch or two and let them see that really, they're no better than the rest of us - and should behave accordingly.
