After serenading the Grammy audience with selections from his new American standards album "Kisses on the Bottom," Paul McCartney wrapped up the Grammy Awards at the three-and-half-hour mark by performing an "Abbey Road" medley that included "Golden Slumbers," "Carry That Weight" and "The End" with a little help from Bruce Springsteen, Joe Walsh and Dave Grohl.

I know this may offend some and I am sorry if it does but I feel compelled to ask "Why should there have been a better tribute to Whitney?" What makes her so special.....we lose thousands of good people every year to addiction.....where are their tributes? I think idolizing people like Whitney and countless other talented artists lost to addiction, only serves to glamorize a horrible disease and the people who suffer from it!! For in spite of all her talent, it couldn't and didn't save her and perhaps even aggravated her disease!! May you Rest in Peace Whitney

Watched the grammys and was so happy to see Adele win all of her rewards, she has such an amazing voice. I love her songs and think she is so talented i wish her well in all the years to come.

I was so so sad to hear the death of Whitney Huston she was a great singer with a voice like no other,a wonderful actress and such a beautiful woman. I hope those dark clouds are replaced with nothing only sunshine, you deserve it for all you gave us in your prime...I will always love you

R.I.P Whitney+

Nicky Minaj was a hot mess. Kudos to Adele. A beautiful performer.

First of all, Taylor didn't lip-sync. Second of all, Adele deserved it. Third of all, Rihanna's performance was terrible. I felt bad for Chris Martin having to sing live with her. I love Rihanna, but she's terrible live. Stop bashing Coldplay.

Wow. Taylor did not lip sync one bit. I just watched the video, and how could you fake that? Sounds like a bunch of bull****.
Plus Adele DESERVED those awards, while you made her sound like she was ungrateful for them.

Adele did awesome and so she should have, just brilliant!!!! But does anyone agree with me that Taylor Swift did an amazing job. She very daintily **** slapped Kanye West for past bad behaviour  in my opinion and got a standing O for it. I do not think i am the only one who believes this is a subtle message to the arrogant boar.

Awesome! Adele deservingly won everything! Poor LadyGaga must've died of jealousy! A TRUE talent won, this time. Not a flavour of the month. Bruce was great. As for the guitar jam with Sir McCartney. But the so-called tibute to Whitney was shameful. I mean, really! Half a song! For all the impact and influence that the woman had on music? it was shameful! I sure could've done without the mess-of-a-performance that Nicky Minaj had, for more Whitney. Sad...

Loss of one of the Greatest Voices of all times....Whitney was an Icon like No Other...it is sad what the industry does to all these Greats....Michael Jackson, Elvis...so many others...people who have touched our lives with their vocals and persona....just to be ripped away by drug abuse possibly used to get through their heavily scheduled tours...and all so young.....very sad endings for such great people with so much to give and sooo much love from us as fans to give back....they are not to be judged but loved and their music will still fill our lives as we go on...today I play her greatest  which really is as many as she recorded....God Bless You Whitney...God has called you home....

First off I thought the Grammys were excellent! The tragic situation, and unexpected event that occurred was devastation to all. The Grammys used "class" and remembered Whitney, and ETTA, and a few others who passed. I will say--Jennifer singing Whitney's song was BEAUTIFUL!!! I thought it was PERFECT for the evening. Not sure what people are saying in this bunch about she should not have gone there. I personally think it was a great decision to do that. Rhianna looked Hot! and gorgeous, and Katy was beautiful. Niki Manij looked dreadful--what the heck was she trying to achieve??? Lady GaGa she ain"t!!! And don't try and be different for the sake of attention--she really has great talent without having to go to extremes. Overall, I give credit to all who had to go up there and sing, and entertain given the news and the moral of the night. Kudos to all who brought the Grammys the memorable night it was. Oh....YAY ADELE you are humble and talented and beautiful and your music is a gift to us all--you goooo girl!!!! woohoo!

This critic Kevin Richie is nuts. If he thinks that Nicki Minaj's performance was good, he is down right idiotic. It was the most sickening act I have ever witnessed. It was extremely demonic and disturbing. It's called satanism NOT show biz.

Never thought I would see Rihanna and Katy Perry look so ugly, extremely bad makeup & hair choices.

The thing that's funny is this dude complemented Taylor Swift without intending to. She wasn't lip syncing but since you thought she did then you just complemented her voice. lol

FrSal - what show were you watching??? Alicia Keys and Bonnie Raitt did a tribute to Etta James close to the beginning of the show by singing one of her classics!

In response to Ethel Bezina  (CLOTEL) and her comments: Let me point out to you that in my comments I never once disregarded Whitney nor her talent, which was never the question! What I asked was a question coming from someone who does know from a lifelong experience with people and their addictions, and that a tribute, in my opinion, should be given to a life well lived. I would never be so stupid, dumb or ignorant to bash a talent such as hers or many of the other talented artists lost to this horrible disease! As for music, I grew up surrounded by music, my father, an amazing talented musician and singer, suffered from addiction. So I feel that I can speak with some insight to both addiction and music, are you capable of the same? What gives you the right to call Adele generic at best? Her awards speak volumes!! I pray and hope for her that she manages to avoid that road but only time will tell, I for one don’t feel that passing judgment or assuming  any of the things that you have done is an adult response to a simple question. You are right about the fact that at one time Whitney was clean, but her talent suffered as a result of her addiction. So have a nice day Ethel Bezina  (CLOTEL) and spare me your uniformed opinion!! Again with heartfelt sympathy to her family, you will be missed……….RIP Whitney may you be free wherever you might be!!
