Who says the music world is obsessed with youth? In April 2012, the old, the cranky and the dead had the scandal sheets on lock: Leonard Cohen's love life spilled into a Los Angeles court room, Ted Nugent's violent rhetoric drew the attention of the Secret Service and a hologram of late rapper Tupac Shakur stole the spotlight at the Coachella Festival. Not to be upstaged, Axl Rose, Kanye West and Courtney Love kept the commenteratti chattering with their sordid snubs, disses and tweets.
