My cable bill is almost 200.00$ per month for nothing but repeat's & old movie's that I've
seen a hundred time's.Oh but wait...We do get those wonderful PAID PROGRAM'S even during
the day time .What they just showed for the next year doesn't warrant the price's for me anyway.
Basic cable is 50.00$...everytime I ask for a channel I like it's always in a whole new channel
package,,10.00$ for each one.EX: Figure Skating..I have to pay for all the sports just to get that.
I know of many people who can't afford cable period now,that's not fair, shouldn't have to be rich
in our city to watch T.V..I'm paying alot & and I don't even get any movie channel's.
re TV vic jailor you are so right the crap that is on if i see die hard or oreditor once more i think they will take me away and to top that we have to put up with hiilbilly hand fishing shipping wars storage wars
the idiot dog and all the rest of the garbage they can possible come up with i am thinking there is no end to this
What gets me is how they suck you in with wonderful sounding packages to switch providers. Then everything you need is extra. After a few months the deal is over and you are paying as much as you were before. And don't get me started on Rogers 'high speed' internet. I found that the internet that came with my 'package' was slow. So I complained and was told that I had 'high speed lite'!!!!! Is that an oxymoron or what? They persuaded me to switch to a more expensive package but I find that I am still spending a lot of time watching that little circle go round and round.
As for TV, I spend far more time watching DVD's than the awful programs that are all that is available. At least Smash and Arctic Air are a change from cop or doctor shows.
the well know internet provider is no better. I am paying 190$ for Tel service and internet, cable is with another provider. The high speed unlimited internet´ claims to be most stable actually has limits, & often not work at the peak time like 7-11pm and week-ends. When i called and learn that i had max the package limits, and has to up grade to a higher usage package,40$ each upgrade, but still over. At one time I am paying 365$émth as they say I had max the max usage package and all the over usage has a max charge of 80$. Then why should I pay for all the upgrades! I switch cable provider as I felt cheated with the same internet provider. However, just as you says, after the first special period, the charges keep rises, and channels change, all my favorite channels were group in different package. I had to pay for all the channels that I didn`t watch, $44 for less than 10 channels I am actually interested in. Tinternet & cable services has becomes as much as I pay for my car each month!
