Doherty has the distinction of torpedoing not just one but two shows that revolved around her. After four seasons playing Brenda Walsh, evil twin to Brandon (Jason Priestley), in the teen soap "Beverly Hills, 902010," she wanted out. We're not sure why - she was getting more attention that year for divorcing Ashley Hamilton after five months than for her flailing movie career. Years later, "Beverly Hills, 90210" creator Aaron Spelling welcomed Doherty back into his fold by letting her star in his new show "Charmed," about three sisters who happen to be witches. Doherty tried directing a few episodes in seasons two and three but tensions between her and co-star Alyssa Milano reportedly led to Doherty quitting at the end of the third season. She's been stuck in TV movie and reality show hell since then, although she did turn up as Brenda Walsh again on the "90210" spin-off in 2008-09.

Sink or swim? Doherty was replaced by Tiffani-Amber Thiessen on "Beverly Hills, 90210," which went on for another six seasons, and by Rose McGowan on "Charmed," which went on for another five. Both shows lasted longer without Doherty than with her. That's gotta hurt.
