Starring Toddlers & Tiaras "superstar" Alana Thompson -- she of Mountain Dew go-go juice and pageant crack guzzling fame -- TLC's latest train wreck introduces the entire Thompson family, who most definitely aren't rednecks: "We've still got all our teeth, don't we?"

Expect plenty of belly flopping in mud, armpit flatulence, and catchphrases a 6-year-old should never repeat -- "A dollar make me holla!" -- because that's pretty much all you need to get a primetime reality show these days. Maybe I'm wrong, but let's stroll down memory lane and check out some other reality TV stars who have, literally, defied reality.

Why is the "learning" channel, catering to the lowest common denominator, instead of showing something that could actually teach someone something.

I Can Remember When There Was A Time When Watching TV Was Enjoyable. TLC Use To Be About Programs Where Learning Was Great, My Sisters Wives, Pagents,My Big Fat Gyspy Wedding,  And The Other Crap That Is Getting All This Attention Is Not Worth Watching, To Each Their Own I Guess. It;s Sad To Know That This Is What We Want To Teach Our Children And Granchildren

I am so upset that the one time I watched this progam I lost precious time enjoying life. It is all crap and should not be on tv. Her parents should be schooled in the ways of raising children. They are raising a self indulgent and not very well adjusted child. Or messed up kid is better. In any case who cares who she is as long as we feed into this madness it will continue and I for one intend to stay as far away from it as I can. Reality tv my butt its all acting like all the other programs like it.

Well one thing is certain.  I'm watching less and less tv as times goes on so when my husband retires within the next year or so I should be able to do without all of these cable shows which will cut down on our cable bill  All there is on tv these days is reality and talent shows which do nothing for the brain cells except create boredom.
I'm also back to reading books which I have always enjoyed so my tv viewing is at an all time low.

Reality TV has gone NUTS, Networks need to start bring out regular programing again and Stop copying one another and making programs which are similar. Reality TV needs to die quietly and sink into the past. On another Point! I think Movie Stars and Sport Stars are paid WAY TOO MUCH MONEY for what they do. They need to pull their heads out of their A--es and live in the real world with the rest of us. That money could do a lot more for a lot of people. But I am just saying!

Why would any network put on another stupid reality show on and one such as this one?? I've seen the ads multiple times on TLC for this "show" and I can't help but think another obnoxious kid hitting the airwaves. I think there is way too many of these types of shows and wish the people that run the networks would get their heads together and develop some shows that aren't as stupid and pointless like this one. Like really folks, is this the best you can do??? If I had kids like this, I think I'd be so ashamed and would go really nuts just watching the stupid ad does that for me and I couldn't even fathom living with a child like that 24/7.

TLC, you have reached a new low.   Self indulgent, bratty kids and morons for parents are not worthy of a TV show.  God knows there enough of them all around us every day.  I think you should remove the words 'Learning Channel' from your title.  Nothing to learn here and shame on you for fee**** more crap!  Cancel my subscription.

My question goes out to the CRTC, Why the F### are you allowing this type of crap and abuse, exploitation and any other type of humane abuse of children on the air and calling it entertainment. Anyone from the CRTC reading this blog care to comment. My suggestion to all of you is the write to them and the sponsors of the show and refuse to purchase their products and furthermore post your thoughts through places like face book and get support from FB friends and other forums to boycott sponsors and the station itself until this is removed from the airwaves. Where is CAS when they are needed.

Can you just imagine what this **** will be like growing up into her teens then to become a young lady (that's if you you will be able to call her that ,'Young Lady' . I would be totally ashamed to say these were my children. This program on TLC is just disrespectful to parents and children of all ages. Like really what were they thinking?

It disgusts me what these poor kids parents put them through. Dressing them up like 40 yr hookers, getting them to jirate around like $2.00 strippers. What is even worse is that there is enough sick A-holes out there that are watching these pedophile shows to keep them on air. You people are even more digusting than the parents. Shame on the parents, shame on the networks and shame on those who watch. every one of you are pathetic human beings.

this is disgusting. The mothers are fat and ugly.  The children are victims of delusional fantasies of their parents, even emotional and physical and verbal abuse happens to these kids.  I watched this once, and was horrified, that this is even allowed on tv. Shame on the parents. SHAME!

Where is this world coming to? what are we teaching our children? Are we basing our worth values on beauty? what's wrong with these parents? These children..... are made up to look like adults. most of them don't want to be in these pageants. Let these kids be kids, shame on you parents!!!

The families of these poor children in the pageants are prostituting their own children. We want happy,well adjusted  girls to grow into well adjusted young women. So why is this garbage even allowed? It is a form of child abuse and some borders on ****ography. Shame on the parents and shame on TLC and anyone watching this crap.And, no Hal ,I am not going to watch it!

ALSO..........this Boo Boo hot mess and her Mother are beyond disgusting.  They are the worst of all of them.   What is television doing ??????   They are lazy and trying to make money off of garbage shows.........then hoping we will watch it.     Advertisers.........​....look out - we are mad and we are not going to take it ANYMORE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate shows that exploit young children like T& T. The mothers all look so out of shape and fat and seem to be living their fantasies of being famous through their ****s. This is so wrong!!!.. I think competiion shows have to stop, its so overkill and I don't watch them at all. I think the movie big shots use these people because " the stars" want such outrageous $$ and its easy to hire people from the sticks who will do it for a song. ( pun intended).

I wish there were really good shows to watch but, the quality is just crap.

I can't believe they would have such Crap on Tv now, they should have a show based on people overcoming traumatic life events like Domestic Violence, and I  would like to be on it.
