Catch up on the second season's succulent episodes
This week the Food Network Canada kicked off its second season of Recipe to Riches. Hosted by Jesse Palmer (of Bachelor fame), the reality competition has Canadian homecooks competing for the rare chance to have their recipe developed into a President's Choice produce and sold in select Loblaws stores across the country.
Each week, a new category produces a group finalists to be judged by a panel of experts including Laura Calder, host of French Food at Home; Tony Chapman, founder and CEO of leading advertising agency Capital C; and Dana McCauley, culinary director at Janes Family Foods. This year special guest Galen Weston, executive chairman of Loblaw Companies Ltd., has also joined the illustrious judging table to offer his two cents. The winners of each category will receive a $25,000 cash prize and have their product made available in stores for Canadians to sample.
Once all the finalists have been revealed though, it is up to Canadian viewers to pick the best of the best by going to www.recipetoriches.ca beginning Dec. 5.
Click through to see the winning products - and their proud creators - as they're revealed each week.
