Super dad Rev. Eric Camden was always trying to instill good Christian values in his family and congregation while dealing with his own crisis of faith through the long series. As the patriarch of the Camden household, the good Reverend appeared in every episode of the show's 11 seasons, ending his run with an RV-ing trip around the good ol' U.S. of A.

Never cared for "7th Heaven".  Always thought they were ripping off "Eight is Enough" 1977-81.  I prefer "Eight is Enough".
